RE2020 follows RT2012, as planned by the Grenelle de l’environnement agreements, intended to divide energy consumption by 3 in new constructions, i.e. 50 kWh/m² per year maximum. To produce more energy than it consumes, RE2020 housing must reduce its energy needs as much as possible. More particularly, this requires better processing of thermal bridges for which the ISOTEC RT+ ITI break plays a key role.
With its new 80 mm insulator, the new Isotec RT+ ITI break meets the most demanding regulations enforced.
It is a holder of AT 3.1/16-878_V2 which guarantees compliance with standards in terms of:
- Fire safety
- Acoustic regulation
- Thermal performance
- Stability
- Thermal expansion of the façade
Isotec is an element which is stable and rugged due to its composition. Therefore, it is highly resistant and withstands transport and worksite handling conditions very well. Composed of mineral wool, it offers fire resistance exceeding 90 minutes. The compression studs offer additional safety in terms of anchoring in the two concrete elements.
