About De Sportdoze
Blankenberge will soon have a brand-new sports complex and Leviat was allowed to contribute to that.
The plans for the new sports complex "De Sportdoze" include a swimming pool, a new sports and mat hall and a skate park. In addition, the building will also feature a retractable grandstand for as many as 200 people. Leviat offered various technical solutions for this purpose.
- Scaldex Sumo façade girders are used to support façade masonry at the level of horizontal expansion joints, projecting masonry, corner windows and daylight dimensions that are too large for a steel lintel.
- The Halfen FPA wall plate anchoring system allows concrete wall plates to be anchored quickly and easily to a load-bearing concrete structure.
- The Plaka Cemflex water barrier plate is used as a connection between concrete and this layer provides a seal against compressive and non-compressive water.
- Plaka Colmarub S is suitable for sealing expansion joints in concrete structures against compressive water.
- Plaka Swell plugs make spacer pipes watertight from the inside.
