The Modula caisson is a standby element including powerful magnetisation in the shells when thermal break elements are to be included on the interior periphery of the building.
The Modula caisson is a 11 or 13 cm thickness element, which integrates perfectly in standard shell thicknesses. Usually, its length is 30, 80 or 100 cm, but other dimensions are available on request. The Modula can be designed for shells with 1 single meshing web (Modula LP) or 2 meshing webs (Modula L NG).
Elements of 30 cm, to be placed between the 100 cm elements, have been developed to hold the railing standby tubes in position during concreting.
All the elements feature one or two handles in the upper part, to facilitate stripping.
This solution is perfectly adapted for edge formwork in finish concrete (coloured / glazed / stamped concrete) as it limits traces of joints.
Elements of 30 cm in length, fitted with a support for steel railing standby tubes, are available and make fitting even easier.
