Peridot Park in Uccle
The Peridot Park project in Uccle involves the large-scale conversion of two former office buildings into 84 luxury apartments. The project is being carried out by Herpain Entreprise on behalf of Koramic Real Estate. The old metal facades are being replaced with contemporary brick architecture featuring high insulation values and expansive glass sections.
Leviat supplied custom-made Korbo masonry supports, enabling the architectural details of the new brick facade to be executed efficiently and practically.
For this project, Leviat engineers also designed very special masonry supports to support the prominent masonry columns above the horizontal expansion joints.
The Korbo masonry supports are designed to support brickwork above openings or overhangs, and to allow the expansion of masonry facades wherever necessary. Korbo angle profiles with or without welded brackets can be executed visible or invisible. The brackets allow for precise adjustment during the installation.
