Thermal break HIT Steel-to-concrete (HIT SDV, HIT SMV & HIT SZV) 01.03.07

Add to my wish list

Steel structures; steel balconies, steel canopies or solar shading systems are generally connected to reinforced concrete components. Because of the high thermal conductivity of steel, an efficient thermal separation in the connection is essential to prevent thermal bridges as these cause higher energy consumption, and to avoid structural damage caused by condensation and mould.

HALFEN HIT Steel to concrete connectors reduce thermal bridges to a minimum with simultaneous high load transfer capabilities.

Benefits
  • Rugged box: excellent resistance (weather and shock) during transport and use
  • A wooden board is fitted as an installation guide: easy use and increased protection against shocks
  • Continuous vertical adjustment facilitated by the shape of the bearing plate
  • Load transfer optimised at the chamfer on the bearing plate
LEVIAT technical advice

The HIT structural thermal break steel-to-concrete is available as different models according to the type of load to extend. The standard range is extended for a width of 25 cm and heights from 18 to 28 cm.
