The masonry hooks are placed at regular intervals to link the exterior facing wall with the load-bearing wall, creating a stable hollow wall. In the case of a ventilated hollow wall, the masonry hook can also be used to hold the insulator by adding an insulator holding clip.
Our range of masonry hooks is very broad, so that we can offer a solution suited to each construction project.
• The length is determined by the width of the gap in the hollow wall. Ensure the masonry hooks are anchored deeply enough at both ends.
• Eurocode recommends using stainless steel masonry hooks (MX3 exposure class).
•Quantity: as specified by the stability engineer (Calculation imposed by Eurocode 6 - NBN EN 1996-1-1 with a minimum 5 p/m² as per the Belgian National Annex)

Masonry hook with expandable ripple for direct anchoring in a drill hole without dowel. The hook is anchored into the facing masonry by folding the other straight end.

Anchoring with dowel in concrete or masonry
The masonry hook is straight and has a twisted end to anchor into the carrier structure by means of a PVC dowel. Anchoring in the masonry is ensured by a ripple at the other end.

The masonry hook is folded at the tip placed in the loadbearing wall mortar joint. The hook is anchored into the facing masonry by folding the other straight end.

Teplo is a low thermal conductivity masonry hook reducing heat loss in double walls. Teplo hooks are made of basalt fibres embedded in epoxy resin. Different types are available according to the nature of the loadbearing wall.
2. dBreak - Acoustic insulating masonry hook
Noise and vibration from the traffic, wind, etc. induce vibrations in the building's exterior wall. They are transmitted to the internal structure through the masonry hooks. By replacing typical hooks with acoustic hooks, the mass-spring-mass principle is implemented, reducing considerably the transmission of vibrations to the structure.
