Threshold support system
Solea-Fix allows the easy fitting of your stone thresholds when the facing does not allow loads to be taken up.
Leveraging our long experience in the field, we have standardised our support range to ensure you will be served in the best possible times. In addition to the dead weight of the stone or concrete element, these brackets are calculated by considering a man's weight at the tip.
The following assumptions were taken into account when calculating the dimensions of the threshold supports:
Material: galvanised steel
9 standard types according to the thickness of the insulator and height difference
Standard insulation thickness Ls between 120 and 230 mm
Standard height difference A between 0 and 100 mm
Always fitted with a Thermi-K thermal switch plate
Thermi-K: thickness = 6 mm - ʎ = 0.16 W/mK
Fastening is performed at 80 mm minimum from the upper edge of the carrying structure.
Fastening is carried out through the Solea-Fix slot, using the M12x140 mm galva threaded rod (+ nut and washer) to be sealed into the supporting structure with the Ankrochim SF800+ chemical anchorage (not included).
After fitting the threshold on the Solea-Fix, a pin (M8x25 mm bolt - not supplied) must be sealed in the underside of the threshold, through the 9 mm diameter hole in the Solea-Fix.
The supporting structure to which the Solea-Fix are to be fastened must be:
- solid concrete block
- hollow concrete block, filled with mortar
- sand-lime block
- reinforced concrete
Check that the blocks in which the Solea-Fix are anchored cannot tip over.
