10.16.03 - Carboplate E170

Carboplate E170 10.16.03

Add to my wish list

Carboplate is a range of high strength and high elastic modulus carbon fibre pultruded flats, used for pressing reinforced and pre-constrained concrete or steel structures.

Carboplate can be a substitute for traditional steel plates commonly used during pressing interventions.

Benefits
  • Easy use (the flats are particularly light versus steel and they are installed without a tightening or holding system)
  • Low dead weight (no overload of the existent)
  • No risk of corrosion
  • Chemical momentum allows the production of reinforcements of structures located in an aggressive atmosphere

Compared with reinforcement by impregnated fabric, flats from the Carboplate range are easy and quick to apply.
Flexibility of Carboplate flats allow strapping cylindrical structures (basins, silos, tanks, etc.) with a radius of curvature exceeding 3 metres.
LEVIAT technical advice

During laying, the temperature must not be below +5°C. The structure must be protected from rain and any dust carried by the wind.
After the intervention, keep the treated surface at a temperature above +5°C.
Protect from rain for 24 hours minimum if the temperature does not drop below +15°C, and for 3 days minimum if the temperature is below +15°C.
