To determine the batter board height required, the total slab thickness to be constructed must be considered, and the thicknesses of the lower and upper meshing webs subtracted.
When the slabs have 1 single reinforcement web, the coverage often exceeds 60 mm. It is then possible to combine the batter board in A with a fibre concrete shoe to position the web at the position required. The concrete shoe offers a good contact surface with the ground. It also avoids the risk of tear of the construction film.
