The Thermi-KS thermal insulation board is a polymer board which placed between the to be fixed element and the supporting structure, increases the thermal resistance of the construction.
It can be made to measure.
The Thermi-KS is ideal for light loads (guardrail, lifeline, cladding, console, ...)
For heavy and cantilever loads, requiring resistance to creep criteria, the Thermo-Break TB100 and TB300 will be perfectly suited.
Galvanised steel (λ = ± 50 W / mK) has a thermal conductivity coefficient higher than that of stainless steel (λ = ± 17 W / mK). This is why, in the case of steel pieces, we recommend to always place Thermi-KS plates between the steel elements and the load-bearing structure to limit heat loss.
The Thermi-KS is ideally suited for environments protected from UV rays and in the case of reduced loads.
