Lifting accessory to be used with its recess and lifted with the appropriate anchor hook. The anchoring is performed in the concrete thanks to the anchor base which creates a tearing cone. Therefore the anchor's resistance depends on
- the resistance of the concrete
- the length of the base anchor
- the distances from the concrete edges
- the distances between anchors
The larger the tearing cone, the stronger the anchoring. It is maximum when the anchor centre distance exceeds 6 times the anchor depth (hef) and the distances to the concrete edges exceed 3 times hef.
