Reltec - lost formwork for column 04.12.01

Add to my wish list

Reltec is a lost formwork system designed for making square and rectangular base concrete columns, either isolated or against existing constructions. Reltec is a set of elements made of high density polystyrene, coated on the inner side with plasticised wood panels. The angles are chamfered. The assembled elements are stiffened using reinforced tape.

This produces a rigid and light formwork resisting to pressure from the concrete without intermediate reinforcements for heights up to 4 m.

Benefits
  • Light, hence easy to handle
  • Fast and precise placement
  • Very easy stripping
  • Simultaneous concreting of several columns possible
  • No investment in traditional formwork
  • Delivered to the worksite made to measure
  • Easy adaptation on the worksite, if necessary
  • After stripping, the Reltec formwork can be used as protection
  • No need for stripping fluid
  • No crane required
LEVIAT technical advice

Throughout the project, it is advised to leave the formwork around the column to protect it. Architects are often so satisfied with the content of the rendering of the columns that they ask them to be left exposed.<br/>
