The SAS900 tie rods are made of hot rolled steel, notched with continuous right-hand thread.
They are fully compatible with the accessories of the same range presented below and by default the resistance of the assembly will be that of the tie rod.
SAS900 tie rods are used mainly to hold the two formwork panels during concreting. They can also be used with anchoring feet or concrete anchors.
In 15 and 20 mm diameters, the 15FA bars can be weldable, bendable on a roller diameter of 4d, and have a resilience exceeding 27J at -20°C, making them compliant with the NF P 93-350 standard.
Before any use, the rods must be inspected. Any rods with warping, marking or rust pitting must be discarded. No repair of rods is possible. In particular, do not straighten a warped rod: discard it.
Rods must be transported and stored protected against shock and corrosive products.
