Watertight sheet in black steel 05.06.05
Add to my wish listThe watertightness sheet is a rough steel sheet placed in a concreting joint Partly anchored before each concreting stage, it extends the path of water which would otherwise cross this joint.
It concerns:
- Watertightness between a raft foundation and a shell
- Watertightness between two raft foundations
The junctions between the consecutive sheets are planned with a 200 millimetre overlap and are provided as required, as follows:
- The two ends of the two consecutive sheets are welded over the entire height
- The two sheets are spaced from one another by 5 centimetres
- The first end is smeared with "Swellseal hydro inflating putty" and the second end is then applied against the first. During concreting, the assembly must be held tightly using a clip.
