3. Spacers

When connecting large cross-section pipes (diameter 160 or the KES system), always use the spacers between the HSI elements to allow subsequent fitting of accessories.

4. HSI 150-DG

The HSI 150-DG system is composed of an HRK watertightness ring as well as an adaptation ring. It is not possible to place an HRK watertightness ring without the adaptation ring as the diameters do not match. The complete HSI 150-DG system can be ordered, but if you already have HRK rings, it is also possible to supply adaptation rings separately.

1. Multihole cover for cable passage

Different covers are available according to the HSI passage diameter used (HSI 90 or HSI 150).

All covers are available with watertight sleeves which are hot retractable (standard) or cold retractable.

For HSI 150, there are 3 covers for 1, 3 or 7 passages respectively, diameters 25-78 mm, 22-56 mm or 12-31 mm

2. Plug

When all passages in the cover are not used, the holes can be closed with plugs

3. Centring strip

The centring strip allows the user to centre the cable in the passage while avoiding damage to the cable, and optimising the watertightness of the heat-shrinking or cold-shrinking sleeve.

5. Cover for smooth sheath connection

This cover allows the connection of smooth cable grommets.

1. To remove the label, slightly heat the HSI passage

2. Remove the label

3. Open the plug using the appropriate wrench

4. Clean the edges of the HSI boxes

5. Engage the cover chosen

6. Tighten the cover manually

7. Then use the wrench to optimise tightening

8. Tighten up to the signal

9. Clean the cables

10. It is important to clean a sufficient length to ensure proper bonding of the heat-shrinking sleeve

11. Place the centring cords in the lower part of the cables

12. The centring cords prevent damage to the cables and the sleeve

13. Heat the heat-shrinking sleeves, starting with the cover sides

14. Then heat-shrink the sleeve onto the cable

15. Proper use ensures optimum watertightness
