The Thermoshim is a thermal break plate that increases the thermal resistance of the Korbo masonry supports. Fit these synthetic plates between the Korbo brackets and the supporting structure.

  • Strong enough to withstand the compression forces from the Korbo brackets 
  • Can also be used as shim plates in case of deviating cavity widths or irregularities 
  • Adapted to fit both Plaka-Korbo and Scaldex-Sumo brackets 
LEVIAT technical advice

 

 Galvanized carbon steel (λ = ± 50 W/mK) has a thermal conductivity coefficient higher than that of stainless steel (λ = ± 15 W/mK). This is why, in the case of galvanized Korbos, we recommend to always place Thermoshim plates between the brackets and the load-bearing structure to limit heat loss.
