Add to my wish list

The expansion joint is made of 2 upper plates made of corrugated steel (raw, galvanised, or stainless), to eliminate the impact of traffic on the joint.
Welded dowels are used on both sides to anchor these corrugated plates in the concrete.
As the slab hardens, the concrete shrinks and the lips of the joint move apart to limit stresses in the concrete.
The vertical forces are borne by intermittent flat studs, which are distributed along the length of the profile.
On one side of the joint, the flat studs are directly embedded in the concrete; and on the other, they are inserted into a sleeve to allow horizontal sliding in both directions.

Benefits

The finish of the concrete slab edges is neat and stable
The corrugations eliminate the impact of traffic
The corrugations are designed so that the wheels of the smallest pallet trucks will not have an impact.
The lightweight design allows for very easy positioning
The height of the joint is adjustable, to best suit your site
The two parts of the concrete slabs can be concreted in one or two phases, which makes their implementation more flexible
Special elements for creating angles or crossings are available on request
