Sliding and deformation strip with continuous core 07.07.01
Add to my wish listSlipping and deformation bearings limiting the constraints due to expansion in concrete structures. The continuous core bearing strip allows for expansion in one direction.
The bearing must be implemented with sliding sheets in the upper part, to ensure that the core transferring the load remains at the centre of the support element.
+ Its functions
/Centre the load on the carrier core (N)
/Allow δ rotation without creating tensions outside the core
/Authorize a horizontal (W), unidirectional movement by reducing the friction coefficient μ
The elastomer core (N) is limited by two strips of (P.E) foam with a standard length of 1 m and variable width B (standard width: 20 mm). The assembly is covered with two sliding sheets (2G) featuring a lubricant film.
