FSA expanding bolts 06.04.01

Add to my wish list

The expandable bolt is a fastening with an exterior thread to fasten parts in a pre-defined thickness. The segment expands automatically when the nut is tightened.

There are different grades of steel - either galvanised or stainless.

Benefits
  • Slanted fastening
The drilling diameter is that of the bolt, therefore it is possible to drill and place the bolt through the part to fasten.
  • Self-expanding bolt
Traction on the bolt expands the segment. This bolt is re-expandable during use in a tense concrete zone, merely by tightening the nut.
  • Deep anchoring
The anchoring zone is far from the concrete surface.
  • Preconstraint
Tightening of the nut gives rise to a preconstraint in the bolt, which increases resistance to fatigue under dynamic solicitation.
