Add to my wish listThe expandable bolt is a fastening with an exterior thread to fasten parts in a pre-defined thickness. The segment expands automatically when the nut is tightened.
There are different grades of steel - either galvanised or stainless.
- Slanted fastening
The drilling diameter is that of the bolt, therefore it is possible to drill and place the bolt through the part to fasten. - Self-expanding bolt
Traction on the bolt expands the segment. This bolt is re-expandable during use in a tense concrete zone, merely by tightening the nut. - Deep anchoring
The anchoring zone is far from the concrete surface. - Preconstraint
Tightening of the nut gives rise to a preconstraint in the bolt, which increases resistance to fatigue under dynamic solicitation.
In the presence of concrete and when concrete coating is insufficient, FSA bolts make up THE perfect fastening for KORBO masonry angles.
