GDR - Guide De Rive 04.20.04

Add to my wish list

The edge guide (Guide de Rive - GDR) is an accessory to the shell guide (Guide de Voile - GDV). It allows you to easily form the edges of your site, while temporary safety equipment is installed in the GDVs.
It is used, inter alia, for peripheral shells or the walls of lifts shafts and staircases.
It is positioned on the 30/30 tubes of the GDVs, without requiring the collective security to be dismantled.

The edge will be made of plywood nailed to a standard joist. The plywood will increase the height of the floor by 50 mm (maximum height of the floor: 25 cm).

Once assembled, the edge will be slid into the GDRs. The screw located in the upper part of the GDR makes it possible to clamp the edge against the concrete of the lower shell, and therefore wedge the formwork.

Benefits

The collective security can be implemented thanks to the 30/30 tube spacing (posts, Φ25)
The tubes positioned on the axis of the wall offer optimal resistance for the collective safety (test report pursuant to NF EN 1337-4)
The GDR can be installed while the guardrail posts are kept in position.
No heavy handling - the edge rests along the wall
Very fast system set-up and locking
The collective security can be kept in place when the system is stripped

LEVIAT technical advice

To facilitate installation, we recommend installing the GDRs two by two, and positioning the edge before installing the next two GDRs.
