Plakasteel type RBC 09.04.05
Add to my wish listPlakasteel RBC is used as lost formwork to form watertight expansion joints in raft foundations or slabs, watertightness being internal. Plakasteel RBC must be held on the ground by means of the appropriate holes, and then the PVC joint is placed on the lower part of the formwork. Finally, the upper part of the formwork is placed and bolted to the lower part so that the assembly is sturdy. It is designed for concreting on both sides simultaneously, which accelerates the worksite stages and limits the leasing of concrete pumps. When concreting on a single side, it is advised to reinforce the formwork temporarily to take up the concrete pressure.
- Very easy fitting
- No stripping
- Perfectly holds the watertightness membrane in the optimum location
- Choice of watertightness membrane type (PVC, Rubber, different widths, etc.)
- For concreting on the 2 sides of the expansion joint in a single operation (time gained on concrete pump leasing)
- Choice of expansion joint; standard 20 mm polystyrene
- Can be combined with the Titan stud to transmit vertical or horizontal loads.
- Can be combined with reinforcement angles with dowels (60/60/6 or 40/25/4 mm) in the upper part
It is important to concrete on the 2 sides simultaneously, and gradually on one side and then the other, to balance the pressures.<br/>In case of load transfer, the combination with the Titan stud will be ideal.
Material: pre-galvanised sheet, thickness 1.5 mm.
Element length: 3 m.
The RBC element bears only on the stiffener bearings.
Shape: Two elements with stiffeners, placed on one another, with a standby between the lower and the upper part, for placing a continuous sealing membrane on the worksite.
Polystyrene with a thickness of 20 mm is fitted, to ensure expansion.
Fastening: Ø 6 mm holes are included in the base.
Possibility of having other thicknesses or other expansion materials.
Internal watertightness membrane: MID24 type and MID32 type.
