Never use expansion dowels for lifting. Only use them for temporary fastening.
Drill while complying with the min. and max. diameters.
Blow the drill holes with compressed air to expel the particles.
Screw the rod onto the expansion dowel while allowing the rod protrude by one or two threads (10 to 20 mm).
Insert a dowel to the bottom of the drill hole. The plastic bush must extract naturally upon introduction in the drill hole. In no event should the plastic bush be inserted into the drill hole. Screw the rod in completely until the lateral parts of the dowel are pressed against the drill hole.
After placing the element to fasten, apply a pre-load equal to the load to be withstood by the dowel when used.
