The shrinkage of "e" concrete causes a slight opening of the joint favouring condensation and penetration of water up to the net at the exit of the sleeve, the most solicited and sensitive location of the device. The Monobox or Multibox places the net in a homogeneous concrete stage and protects it from corrosion.
